![]() I could not dream of going anywhere else!!! with it’s ambiance, wonderful hair products, low prices, new & innovative hair techniques and my consistent satisfaction with my hair after leaving, The Snippery by far the best salon I have ever been to. I recently moved to the Braintree area and was looking for my «Go To» hair salon, you know a friendly, clean and welcoming place where everyone knows your name and most of your life story by the end of your cut… I also need a place that doesn’t break the bank. Upon my arrival at the Snippery I was welcomed by two blank faces as I entered through the door, one male and one female. After introducing myself I was told to sit and wait as they prepped to wash my hair. The cut was bearable but nothing ground breaking… they tried to push products at me and up sale the appointment the entire time.Īt this point I was offered water which was sadly the most pleasant part of the experience. Worst part was, they didn’t even offer to blow out my hair! I do have long curly hair but this is why I go to a salon… so someone with expertise will blow out and do my hair, not be lazy and take the easy way out and stick me under a dryer while they surf facebook… YES that really happened… in plain sight of me. I will never return and I will never recommend this salon to anyone.I generally do not write reviews however I was so thrilled with the hair cut that Gina gave me that I wanted let everyone know about “The Snippery”. I am new to the area, and I mentioned to someone that I wanted to get my hair cut and layered. They recommended that I go to Gina, and told me she is “a master at layering hair!” I have long hair, and it had been quite a while since my last hair cut. ![]() Considering how long it took for my hair to get this long, naturally I was a bit nervous about trying a new stylist, even though she came highly recommended. ![]() However, I was instantly reassured when I met Gina, and before I even sat in her chair, she spent quite a while conducting a “hair consultation, listening to me and then asking me what I considered to be “all the right questions”. But in the end, of course it was the cut that really would matter, and whether or not she could give me a cut that I could “live with. ![]()
